Dean Sternhagen
Dean joined our team in 2019 after 18 years in sales and marketing. Licensed in both SD and NE, he became interested in pursuing a real estate career after positive experiences purchasing both his primary home and his Black Hills cabin. Dean enjoys helping his clients and says that getting to know them is his favorite part of the job. He also appreciates the flexibility and variety of his work, no day is ever the same in real estate!
Dean is a lifelong resident of the Bon Homme area. Him and his wife Teresa have three adult children, Zac (wife Shelby), Carly, and Katelyn. They recently welcomed their first grandchild, a sweet boy named Palmer. Dean is active in his community serving on the Town Board of Trusties, HRC board, and the Chamber of Commerce. He is a volunteer on Tabor’s fire department, an active member of St. Wenceslaus church, and currently serves on the BY Electric board. His favorite volunteer activities are organizing the annual Rich Schild Memorial Fireworks, putting together the poker run, and bingo night. When Dean isn’t working he can often be found hunting, brewing beer, and enjoying his cabin the Hills.
